هذه السحب تمر من خلالها الطائرة بسهولة، ولا تسبب سوى بعض الاهتزازات الخفيفة الناتجة عن الرياح داخلها، وغالبًا ما تكون آمنة تمامًا.
سحب ذات جزيئات مائية:
تحتوي هذه السحب على رطوبة عالية تؤدي إلى توليد الكهرباء الساكنة عند احتكاكها بجسم الطائرة، ما يُحدث ومضات كهربائية (تشبه البرق) على الزجاج الأمامي. ويُلاحظ هذا النوع غالبًا أثناء الصعود أو الهبوط.
السحب الركامية (الأكثر خطورة):
وُصفت بأنها تمثل تهديدًا مباشرًا، لأنها تحتوي على بَرَد، برق، ورياح شديدة. وأكد الكابتن الغامدي أن الطيارين يُلزمون بتجنّب هذا النوع من السحب حرصًا على سلامة الركاب والطائرة.
رؤية السحب ليلًا ونهارًا
أوضح الغامدي أن الطيارين يمكنهم تمييز السحب الخطرة بالعين المجردة خلال النهار، أما في الليل فيُعتمد على شاشات الملاحة الجوية، حيث تظهر السحب الركامية كنقاط حمراء محاطة بالأصفر، ما يسهل تجنّبها.
