وأشار يلدز، وفقًا لوكالة الأناضول، إلى أن الاشتباكات المستمرة في السودان أدت إلى واحدة من أكبر الأزمات الإنسانية عالميًا، مؤكدًا أن تركيا ستكون في طليعة الدول الداعمة للسودان خلال مرحلة إعادة الإعمار.
وأضاف السفير التركي أن أنقرة تدعم جهود الحكومة السودانية لمعالجة الأزمة الإنسانية في البلاد، مشددًا على أن تركيا لم تقف مكتوفة الأيدي أمام الأزمة، بل تواصل جهودها للحفاظ على العلاقات الثنائية رغم الظروف الصعبة التي يمر بها السودان.
