أعلنت وزارة الصحة بولاية سنار، اليوم، عن تسجيل 51 حالة إصابة مؤكدة بمرض الكوليرا، توفي منها 5 حالات، فيما تماثلت 14 حالة للشفاء، ولا تزال 31 حالة تخضع للعلاج داخل مراكز العزل الطبي المنتشرة في الولاية.
وأكد وزير الصحة بالولاية، د. إبراهيم العوض، أن الوضع الصحي مستقر حتى الآن، ويتم التعامل معه بجهود مكثفة من الفرق الطبية، مشيرًا إلى أهمية تعزيز التنسيق بين الجهات الصحية والمجتمعية للحد من انتشار المرض والسيطرة على الوضع الوبائي.
ودعت الوزارة المواطنين إلى اتباع إرشادات الصحة العامة، خاصة ما يتعلق باستخدام مياه الشرب الآمنة والنظافة الشخصية، مؤكدة استمرار حملات التوعية والاستجابة السريعة لمكافحة الكوليرا في جميع المحليات المتأثرة.
