كشفت وزارة الصحة بولاية الخرطوم، في تقريرها الوبائي الصادر اليوم، عن تعافي 168 مصابًا بالكوليرا وخروجهم من مراكز العزل بعد استكمال العلاج. كما عالجت فرق الاستجابة السريعة 76 حالة دون الحاجة إلى الإحالة للمراكز الطبية، بينما جرى تسجيل 52 حالة معالجة ميدانية في منطقة الصالحة.
وفي إطار الإجراءات الوقائية، نفذت الفرق الصحية حملات موسعة لتطهير 1452 منزلًا ودار إيواء، إضافة إلى توزيع 4360 حبة كلور لتعقيم مياه الشرب، بهدف الحد من انتشار المرض. كما شملت الجهود التوعوية تقديم إرشادات صحية مباشرة لـ2679 مواطنًا في المناطق المتأثرة.
ودعت وزارة الصحة جميع السكان إلى الالتزام باستخدام المياه المكلورة، والحفاظ على النظافة الشخصية وغسل الأيدي بانتظام، باعتبارها إجراءات ضرورية لحماية المجتمع من خطر الكوليرا.
