جاء ذلك خلال مشاركته في ورشة مناقشة مقترحات تعديل قانون الصحافة والمطبوعات، التي أُقيمت في مدينة بورتسودان، حيث دعا الإعيسر إلى إطلاق حوار شفاف وشامل يضم كافة الأطراف المعنية، بمن فيهم الصحفيون والجهات التنظيمية ومؤسسات المجتمع المدني، وذلك بهدف تأسيس بيئة إعلامية تدعم حرية التعبير وتعكس تطلعات السودانيين نحو العدالة والديمقراطية.
وأضاف الوزير أن بناء إعلام حر ومسؤول هو ركيزة أساسية في مسار التحول الوطني، وأن مشاركة الإعلاميين في صياغة التشريعات هي خطوة مهمة لترسيخ مبدأ الشفافية وتعزيز ثقة المجتمع في المؤسسات الإعلامية.
