وشملت الجولة الميدانية مخيمات مني ومشعر عرفات، حيث اطمأن الرشيد على الأعمال الجارية في المخيمات التي تم إعدادها بصورة متقدمة، مبرزًا حرص شركة مشارق الماسية على توفير كافة الترتيبات اللازمة لاستقبال 11,500 حاج وحاجة من حجاج السودان.
وأوضح رئيس مكتب شؤون الحجاج أن مواقع المخيمات هذه السنة مختلفة ومميزة مقارنة بالأعوام السابقة، مشيرًا إلى تأكدهم من توفير جميع احتياجات الحجاج بما يسهم في تسهيل أداء مناسك الحج بكل راحة.
كما أكد سامي الرشيد خلال الجولة أن جودة وترتيب المخيمات ممتازة، وأن إجراءات تفويج الحجاج منظمة بشكل متكامل وبالتنسيق الوثيق مع وزارة الحج السعودية، متمنيًا لجميع الحجاج حجًا مبرورًا وذنبا مغفورًا، وداعيًا الله أن ينصر القوات المسلحة السودانية في مواجهة أعداء الوطن.
