شهدت مدينة كوستي بولاية النيل الأبيض استهدافًا من قبل 4 مسيرات نفذتها المليشيا ما أدى إلى اشتعال النيران وارتفاع أعمدة الدخان من مقر الفرقة 18 مشاة.
وأفاد مصدر عسكري سوداني لقناة الجزيرة أن المليشيا شنت هجمات بمسيرات على مقر للجيش ومستودعات وقود في المدينة، ولا تزال الجهات المعنية تجري إحصاءً للضحايا والأضرار.
وفقًا للمصادر، استهدفت المسيرات مستودعًا يقع قرب المنطقة الصناعية، بالإضافة إلى مقر قيادة الجيش، كما ضربت مسيرة الكوبري الرابط بين كوستي وربك، فضلاً عن استهداف مستودع مخصص للزراعة، ما تسبب بأضرار متعددة في المدينة.
